Placing An Order with Thoughtful Creations

Making a purchase with Thoughtful Creations couldn’t be easier. Just browse our shop, adding any items that you wish to buy to the cart, with your personalisation where necessary. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ were you will be asked a few details to enable you to complete your order.

When confirmation of your order is received, this indicates that I have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. I have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, I have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, I will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

We reserve the right to temporarily remove any item for sale from our website or completely discontinue any item.

This may be caused by a problem with third parties, and therefore, there may be a delay from when the decision is made, to the item being removed from sale.

If you happen to purchase an item that we temporarily remove, or discontinued, a refund for that sole item will be offered to you ( the customer ).

Custom and Personalised Orders

I will work closely with you to create the ideal product that you are looking for. Once we agree to details of a custom/personal order I will send you a photo of the mockup of the item within 48 hours. I am happy to make adjustments to get it just right and only after you approve the item, will get it made up and dispatched to you.

Sizing Details

All sizes are listed in each listing. Please ensure you read the information about the sizing. Some prints will be printed on larger cardstock to allow you to trim to size.

Gift Wrapping and Packaging

I do not currently offer gift wrapping but on request I am happy to include a notecard with a personalised messages. Most items will come wrapped in either tissue paper or a plastic folder and placed in a hardbacked envelope or small parcel box for posting.

Send Direct To The Recipient

You can send this direct to a recipient. I am happy to include a complimentary greeting card with any personalised message you like. Item will be sent wrapped in either tissue paper or a plastic folder and placed in a hardbacked envelope or small parcel box for posting. Please contact me to let me know you would like this option at no extra cost.

Processing time:
The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies between 1 working day and 14 working days. For details, see individual items.
UK Delivery
All prints are sent via 1st class post and all other items 2nd class with an option to upgrade.
International Delivery
Delivery times for international deliveries vary by zone and are estimated from dispatch. Please see below for more information.
The delivery cost is calculated based on the destination, size and the weight of the product. The cost is shown on the relevant product page and on the checkout page.
Estimated shipping times:
United Kingdom: 2-5 business days
Europe: 1-2 weeks
North America: 1-3 weeks
Canada: 1-4 weeks
Australia, New Zealand and Oceania: 2-5 weeks
Asia Pacific: 2-5 weeks
I’ll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but can’t guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.

Returns

I want you to have peace of mind when buying, therefore I gladly accept returns and exchanges if you are not 100% happy with your item.
You have the right, under the distance selling act to refuse/return an unwanted item within 14 days. The 14 day period begins on the day of delivery.
If you have received an item that is incorrect or faulty, you must notify me as soon as you have received it, within the indicated time scale of these delivery terms.
Customers must inform me within 2 days of delivery to receive a replacement order of that item or a refund. Items will be replaced at no cost to you once I have received evidence of damaged goods. Evidence can be provided by emailing a photograph of the damaged items. If the fault is mine we will replace or refund immediately.
I will not be liable for the cost of postage for any returned items, however if a new item is shipped out as a replacement, I will cover this charge.
Please ship items back within: 21 days of delivery.
Unfortunately, because of the nature of these items, the following items can’t be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective:
 
I can’t accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
